The skimmers of the series 5000 have been developed for bigger aquariums. Like the smaller models, they are supplied with venturi pumps that include a needle wheel for mixing air and water. The reaction pipe has a diameter of 8 inches. The foam cup is conical shaped, to improve the foam production. The design of inlet and outlet ensure a long retention time of the bubbles in the skimmer. Although each Turboflotor 5000 includes the main pump, a separate pump with a capacity between 500 - 1000 gph is needed to supply the skimmers with water.  Turboflotor5000 Twin: up to 1250 gallons capacity - 78" Height
