Trace elements are essential for all animals. Minute quantities of almost all the elements known on earth are dissolved in seawater. In the aquarium these elements, essential to the well being of the inhabitants, may become depleted. This loss of elements can be compensated for by adding Reef Life Trace at regular intervals. It provides elements such as boron, chromium, copper, fluorine, iron, manganese, molybdenum, zinc and many more. It does not use gelling agents, which have been shown to harm coral growth.
